The “Transfiguration” was bred by the breeder from Russia, Kraynov VN. Due to their basic characteristics and properties, grapes are considered to be a unique hybrid variety of culture. This large-fruited plant stands out for its incredible size of berries and clusters. In some cases, a bunch can reach three kilograms by weight. Competent care of the plant will allow you to get a brush weighing at least one kilogram.

The grapes of the grapes grow an elongated oval shape, each weighs about 15 grams, but sometimes they can weigh about 20 grams. The proportion of sugar content in the berries is 18%, due to which the grapes get a pleasant taste, in addition, it does not include foreign colors. As the winegrowers note, in cooler regions, the berries acquire a saturation of color. There are hybrids, which even on one tassel will have berries of different colors.

It is distinguished by good resistance to cold winters and diseases, it quickly gets used to a new place after transplantation, the variety is self-pollinated.

Considering this grape, it is worth highlighting the main features inherent in the variety:

• the term of ripening of the variety “Transformation” refers to the early one, since it takes about 3 months from the moment of opening of the buds to harvesting;
• the flowers of the plant are bisexual;
• the plant is vigorous and has good spore formation;
• acidity is 7 g / l;
• sugar content varies from 17 to 19%;
• the mass of berries ranges from 12 to 20 grams.

Grapes "Transformation" is endowed with a mass of virtues, the main ones are described below.

In addition to a rather impressive list of advantages, the grape variety under consideration still has some drawbacks. The main ones are described below.

• Due to too intense pinching, the culture needs constant attention and pinching new shoots.
• Grapes need at least three prophylactic treatments for diseases during one growing season.
• In regions where winters are characterized by great frosts, bushes need additional preparation for the cold. She is in the shelter of the vine, which uses various techniques and materials.
• The variety suffers from raids of wasps, therefore it requires high-quality protection from insects.

For a big harvest of grapes "Transformation" he needs to provide competent care. It includes a number of mandatory activities, discussed below.

The ground at the bushes should be of average humidity, so it is very important to observe the measure and not to overwet the soil. Too abundant watering affects the development of bushes. The plant needs regular watering only at the beginning and end of flowering.In the hot season and in the absence of rain, gardeners advise digging up small holes near the vineyard and filling them with water.

In spring and autumn, grapes require mulching, due to which the soil can retain moisture and beneficial elements. Work carried out with the use of humus or peat, a layer of useful substances should be about 3 centimeters. Dry straw is ideal for mulching shrubs.

Pruning performed in the fall, if the work is done in the spring, you should wait until the vine blooms. Fan molding is the best option for a vineyard. It is created by shortening the vine on 7 eyes. The number of shoots should be reduced by about 25 pieces. One shoot must contain only one bunch of grapes.

As a rule, shelter shrubs performed in early autumn. To accomplish this, you should bend the grapes to the ground, and sprinkle it with soil on top. Like any other plant, the Transformation grape suffers from pests. Most often, the crop is destroyed by wasps. Fighting them does not always bring good results. However, gardeners use sweet traps for insects, and place them near the vineyards. To protect the berries from birds, scarecrows are installed or the fine mesh is stretched over the bushes.

The main pests that threaten grapes are the insects described below.

In the spring, it needs nitrogen, so ammonium nitrate or urea is used to feed it. Superphosphate is introduced in the flowering phase of the plant. After harvest, the bushes are fed with copper-containing compounds that have a positive effect on the resistance of grapes to frost.

In order to grow a healthy plant and get a regular crop, It is necessary to adhere to such recommendations:

• taking into account the unpretentiousness of the grapes "Transformation", regarding the soil for planting, its competent watering and timely introduction of useful and nutrients are mandatory;
• so that the moisture does not stagnate and does not harm the plant, it should be planted on level ground;
• to give the root system of grapes to grow properly, it is necessary to locate vineyards far from other crops, which will allow the plant to obtain the required amount of trace elements from the soil.
