Melted Cheese Recipes
Melted cheese is a tasty, healthy and at the same time affordable product. It can be used for breakfast with a sandwich or added to more complex dishes.
Product features
Melted cheese is a dairy product obtained from cottage cheese, cheese with the addition of rennet, butter, milk, spices and various fillers. All this is mixed and melted at a certain temperature, hence the name of such a cheese product.
Compared with cheeses of solid types, fused has its advantages - it contains less harmful cholesterol, more phosphorus and calcium, as well as a special protein containing amino acids. But there are also disadvantages - it contains a large amount of salts, phosphate and chemical additives, if the cheese is purchased.
How to choose cheese?
All processed cheeses can be divided into 4 types.
- Sausage - based on low-fat cheeses with the addition of rennet. It tastes like smoked meat. This includes such cheeses as “Hunter”, “Smoked Sausage”.
- Lomteva - This cheese has a more dense structure, it is easy to cut. Content of young cheese is up to 70 percent. These include such cheeses as “Dutch”, “Russian”, “Orbit”.
- Pasty - the difference of this type is a high content of fat and a soft texture, usually packaged in trays. Belong to this group "Yantar", "Summer", "Friendship".
- Sweet - it uses low-fat fresh cheese, cottage cheese, as well as added sugar and various fillers. This includes cheese "With a nut", "Omichka", "Chocolate".
You can see that cheeses vary in composition, structure, additions and appearance. You need to choose them according to your own taste, as well as from the goals that guide their acquisition. Usually for light (for tea) sandwiches, sweet and spread cheeses are used. and all the rest - for snacks and cooking various dishes.

Onion Pie
To prepare this dish you will need: butter, some flour, sour cream, soda, vinegar for quenching, melted cheese, white onions, eggs and greens.
300 grams of flour is poured into a deep container, 200 grams of butter is rubbed on the coarse side of the grater (it is better to use frostbitten), it is ground by hand. The mixture is scooped up the hill and a dimple is placed on top - it contains 6 tablespoons of sour cream, vinegar slaked soda or baking powder and salt.
Knead the dough with your hands and form in a large lump, which should be placed in a plastic bag and put in a cold place for two hours.
For the filling, 6 onions are peeled and cut into thin half rings, then fried, remembering to salt and pepper. After transferring the fried onions to the cup, add grated cheese - 4 curds (320 grams). 4 large eggs are stirred in a separate bowl with greens, then added to non-hot onions.
The prepared dough is divided into two equal parts and rolled to form a sheet. One part is laid out in shape, making the sides, filling is laid out on it, after which the second part of the dough is covered. Everything is fastened and put on a sheet in the oven. Bake the cake no more than 25 minutes, warming up the oven to 170 degrees.
Slice the cake better cooled.
Cream Cheese Sauce
Take: 50 grams of peeled walnut, processed cheese, a glass of milk, spices and dill.
The milk is heated (not brought to a boil), the broken cheese, salt, spices are added and everything is well mixed. When the cheese is melted, the pan is removed from the hotplate, nuts and chopped greens are added with a knife (parsley or basil can also be added).This sauce is suitable for meat or potatoes.
Omelette
You will need: two eggs, 200 milliliters of milk, ham, processed cheese, tomato and greens.
Beat eggs with milk and salt. Diced ham and tomato, grated cheese and greens are added to them. The whole mass is poured into the pan and, over low heat, cook with the lid closed.
Cream Cheese Soup
If you want to make a light and nutritious soup, you will need: potatoes, onions, carrots, melted cheese, garlic, mushrooms, better mushrooms, smoked sausages.
Put boiled 3 potatoes and 200 grams of mushrooms into boiling salted water. Onions (1 onion) and grated carrots (2 pieces) fry, cheese (2-3 cheeses) rub on a coarse grater, and put all this in the soup. Cut sausages into rings and also add to the soup. Cook until complete cooking potatoes. Before serving, you can decorate with greens.
Delicate cheese rolls
For such a snack you will need: thin Armenian lavash, melted hard cheese, fresh cucumber, mayonnaise sauce, dill, parsley, garlic clove.
One cheese is rubbed on a fine-grated grater and squeezed garlic is added. Next, add shredded greens, salt and pepper to taste and mix everything. Cucumber is peeled and thinly sliced along. Lavash is decomposed, the filling is neatly distributed over it, and the cucumber is put on the edge. Next, the pita bread is wrapped in a roll, wrapped in plastic wrap, retracted in a cold place for about 25 minutes.

Cream Cheese Crackers
This recipe requires: 2 cheese, 250 grams of flour, half a pack of margarine or butter, 2 raw eggs, salt, cumin and sesame seeds.
Cheese is rubbed on a fine-grated grater, one egg and a third of a teaspoon of salt are added to it. Everything is mixed and flour is added in small portions, mixed until the dough is smooth. The resulting dough is wrapped in foil and put into the fridge for half an hour, then it should be rolled out and with the help of molds to form future cookies. Place the cookies on a baking sheet covered with special paper, coat them with a beaten egg, sprinkle with cumin and sesame. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Salad with cheese and seafood
For seafood lovers, the following recipe seems interesting: take one package of processed cheese, fresh-frozen squid carcasses, eggs, garlic, greens, mayonnaise and salt. Instead of squid, octopus, shrimp, mussels are suitable.
300 grams (about 4 carcasses), wash the squid, boil in boiling salted water for about two minutes and remove from the film. When cool, cut into strips. Frosted cheese grate on a coarse grater. Boil two eggs and cut into cubes, finely chop the greens. Two cloves of garlic squeeze. All prepared ingredients mix and season with mayonnaise.
Salty spit
Baking is made from sausage cheese, you will also need: smoked bacon, flour, egg, milk, dry yeast, salt, honey, vegetable oil.
Salt, 1 teaspoon of honey, 20 grams of yeast dissolve in warm milk (200 milliliters). One egg is added, 20 milliliters of oil and stirred. 400 grams of flour is added and the dough is kneaded. When there are no lumps left, the dough is covered and left to warm for 1 hour.
Stuffing: 150 grams of cheese is rubbed on a coarse grater, the bacon is cut. The prepared dough is divided into three parts and rolled out with a long sausage. The filling is put into each part and a braid is woven. Place the resulting braid on a sheet, brush with yolk and milk and sprinkle with sesame. Leave it warm for 30 minutes, then bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
Snack pate
For this recipe you will need: milk and fillet of one salted herring, carrots, melted cheese, chicken eggs, butter, salt, pepper.
To grind future pate, you can use a meat grinder or blender. Milk, fillet and one carrot mince.Melted cheese and one boiled egg grate on a fine grater and add to the bulk. Melt 150 grams of butter and, slightly cooled, mix with everything else. Add salt and pepper to taste. Chill. Such a pate can be served by adding to sandwiches, or on slices of black bread with a cucumber ring, strung on a skewer.
Cheese sticks
Taken: processed cheese, raw egg, two tablespoons of sour cream, a quarter of a tablespoon of soda, 170 grams of flour, greens, salt.
All ingredients are mixed in a blender to get a creamy mass. Next, the dough is kneaded by hand, adding flour to it. To the dough is not sticky to the hands, you can moisten hands with vegetable oil. When the dough becomes more dense, roll out the sausages and cut them into sticks. The resulting chopsticks are fried in a pan.
Salad "Bride"
It will take: chicken - better fillet with one carcass, potatoes, boiled eggs, melted cheese, onions and light mayonnaise.
Meat is boiled and finely chopped. Eggs (4 pieces) boil hard boiled and rubbed on a coarse grater, separating the yolk. Two frozen cheeses and two boiled potatoes also grate on a coarse grater. Chop onions finely. Put the finished ingredients in a bowl in turn, smearing each layer with mayonnaise. Top can be decorated with dill or parsley.
Pasta in tomato and meat sauce
Ingredients: pasta, pork and ground beef, melted cheese, onions, tomato paste, greens.
One peeled and finely chopped onion is fried. 500 grams of minced meat is salted and added next, everything is stewed over low heat. Tomato paste and cheese is added to the pan, everything is thoroughly mixed and brought to readiness. Separately boiled pasta. Serve can be pre-mixed with minced meat or put stuffing on top of each serving.
Hostess on the note
Any housewife can cook melted cheese in her kitchen. The only thing is that it will turn out not so hard, since various additives are used in the factory. Take one kilogram of cottage cheese, one glass of milk, 120 grams (4 tablespoons) butter, 7 grams (teaspoon) of soda, salt and spices to taste.
It is better to take rustic dairy products, as they contain more fat.
Soda is added to the curd and everything is thoroughly ground, for convenience, you can use a mixer. The curd mixture is transferred to a container intended for cooking, and put on a small fire. When the cottage cheese becomes liquid, add butter, salt, spices, and the mixture is brought to a homogeneous consistency (stir all the time). While the cheese is still hot, it is poured into small-sized prepared forms, cooled slightly, covered with foil and placed in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Homemade cheese can be prepared in several versions: with the addition of cocoa, basil, garlic, mushrooms or ham.
Some more tips:
- for making homemade cheese, fresh milk is better suited, curd mass and pasteurized milk will not work;
- if the dough is too sticky, you can grease your hands with vegetable oil;
- so that the cheese is better rubbed, you need to put it in the freezer for 1 hour;
- when rubbing the cheese so that it does not stick, the grater should be greased with vegetable oil on both sides.
For dishes you need to choose fresh cheeses, and if their packaging is opened, then the period of its use is not more than 2 days when stored in the refrigerator and a dense container.
