At that moment, when all the water is completely boiled away from the pan, you need to add milk to it. From this point you need to cook another 15-20 minutes.

In the microwave

The device will greatly simplify the task. To cook porridge in the microwave, you will need:

  • 140 g of wheat cereal;
  • 500 ml of water;
  • 30 g butter;
  • salt.

Groats need to be washed and cleaned of unnecessary impurities. Then put it in a deep container. It can be any pan or bowl, suitable for use in the microwave.

We pour the grits in half a liter of boiling water, add salt and butter. Put the container in the microwave for 15-30 minutes (depending on the power of the device).
