For require a special variety, called "Pavlovsky" mandarin. The plant has the appearance of a green tree with long flexible branches. Its size hardly reaches 1 m. It has cultural leaves that look like orange tree foliage, are darker at the top and slightly lighter at the bottom.

The fruits of homemade orange are small, each weighing about 70-80 g. Unlike store varieties, Pavlovsky mandarin has a thinner crust.

The flesh is bright orange with a strong orange smell, has a sweetish and spicy taste with a slight bitterness. Easy to clean and split into slices. Under the rules of agricultural technology, it blooms twice a year in April and September.

After flowering fruits are formed, so the harvest can be collected year-round.

Pavlovsky is the only variety of mandarins that can be diluted with cuttings. But attempts to grow a tree from a seed can turn into unexpected results. A new plant will not have the same characteristics as the parent plant.

For rooting cuttings suitably acidic soil, consisting of sod-leafy soil with the addition of sand and humus. It is important not to forget about the organization of the drainage layer, since the plant does not tolerate overmoistened soil.

It is necessary to root the cuttings with 2-3 leaflets. After planting, it is necessary to cover them with a film or a half of a trimmed plastic bottle. The rooting process takes an average of 3-6 months.

Pomeranets is a southern culture that requires a long daylight. With a lack of light, it is necessary to organize additional artificial lighting. The optimum temperature is +25 degrees. During the budding period it should be reduced to +20 degrees.

After fruiting, the plant needs rest. This usually occurs in the second half of winter. At this time, it is recommended to create a temperature regime for plants in the range of 10-15 degrees and temper watering. If the plant is deprived of such a rest, then in the future its fruiting will decrease.

Watering the plant is necessary every 2-3 days with warm settled water. In the summer you can do it more often, in the winter - less often. It is impossible to prevent overmoistening of the soil; an orange can even withstand a short-term drought.

Watering is best done in the morning.

Dry air, especially during the heating period, cannot be called useful for a tree. Spraying will help prevent leaves from drying out. Periodically it is necessary to introduce organic and mineral fertilizers. During the growing season need nitrogenous feed, which need to stop making with the beginning of budding.

Pruning a tree is one way to increase crop yields. It is necessary to remove weak and dry branches, as well as early inflorescences. They take away strength from the orange, do not allow to get large fruits.

Pruning also helps to form one or another type of crown, because many people grow Pavlovsky mandarins for decorative purposes.

If you want to grow a tall tree, then pinch the side shoots. If you leave them and dive the main stem, you will be able to form a lush crown.

In early spring and late autumn, the main thing is not during the flowering period, the plant needs to be transplanted. Until the plant reaches the age of 7, planting is carried out annually. After this period, do the procedure every 2-3 years.

If all the rules of agricultural technology are observed, the plant begins to bloom in the second year of planting, and bear fruit in the third.
