Also in too hot weather, you can build special shelters for strawberry or strawberry bushes from other plants or a special garden film. They will create a shaded place over the plants.

Often, strawberries turn yellow due to the acute lack of magnesium. Most often, plants lack this particular element. To cure Victoria in this case, you need to make a special feed.

Sometimes seedlings lack nitrogen. As a rule, this problem occurs in early spring, because the root system is hard to get this element from the still poorly heated land. With a lack of nitrogen compounds, the leaf blades start to turn a little yellow. But in the final stages, they acquire a bright lemon color. In such a situation, ammonium nitrate must be added.

Boron deficiency can also cause Victoria to turn yellow. In addition, berries and flowers grow much less. In this case, it is necessary to make boric acid fertilizing.

If Victoria bushes do not get enough moisture, they will not be able to properly absorb all the necessary nutrients. But at the same time it is impossible to water strawberry beds too often, because it can lead to fungal diseases. Strawberries are recommended to be watered only early in the morning so that the wet ground can dry out a bit until the temperature drops in the evening.

Most often the leaves on the strawberries turn yellow due to xanthosis (strawberry jaundice). And at first they begin to change their natural color only at the edges. But then the sheet plates are completely painted yellow.

• First make a special feed. As they are most often used compounds with iodine, potassium permanganate or milk whey.
• It is also recommended to apply fertilizer with humus to the soil around the strawberries. In early spring it is better to use only nitrogen compounds. But remember to be careful with this element. After all, an overabundance can lead to an excessive increase in the green mass of plants.
• Dolomite flour will also be useful. Most often, it is used in the absence of magnesium. Many gardeners are advised to periodically process the plants with soapy water, bitter red pepper infusion, decoction with chopped garlic.
• If you find pests on strawberry bushes, then it is better to immediately treat them with chemical preparations. The most effective of them are "Fitoverm", "Iskra". Often, gardeners alternate the use of folk and chemical methods.
• If the strawberry was hit by a strong virus, then all the bushes are removed from the site. They must be burned immediately so that they cannot infect other cultures.

To prevent the appearance of yellow spots on the leaves of Victoria, you need to carry out some preventive procedures in a timely manner.

• So, do not forget about watering, because Victoria has poorly developed roots, so the moisture deficit will immediately be felt. Poor watering can lead not only to the fact that the leaves begin to turn yellow, but also to the fact that the strawberries will become too weak and will soon begin to fade.
• Do not forget to regularly cultivate the land to destroy all the harmful bacteria that have settled in it. For this, heat treatment with boiling water should be carried out. They will kill many parasites.

• Before planting strawberry seedlings each gardener should choose the most suitable place for this. Remember that you should not plant this plant in areas where tomatoes, peppers, eggplants or potatoes were previously grown. Old pests left after these crops can later damage Victoria.
• Also, do not forget, the older the plant, the more diseases and parasites it has. Therefore, it is recommended to make periodic transplants. This procedure should be carried out once every two years.
