  • 1.5 kg of granulated sugar.

  • Remove the seeds by hand.
  • Rub the dogwood through a sieve.
  • Wash the fruit with boiling water, blot with a napkin and crush with a tolcushka. The resulting mass is rubbed through a metal sieve. After removing unnecessary ingredients, mash the sugar and whisk in a smooth blender until smooth. Pour the mixture into cans and seal.

Confiture

Confiture is a jelly-like jam with small pieces of berries inside. Cook it in two steps: the syrup is prepared first, and then the fruit.

Components:

  • 1 tbsp. water;
  • 1 kg of granulated sugar;
  • 2 kg of dogwood.

Place the water and sugar in a saucepan and place on the stove. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved. Wash the dogwood, dry and send to the ready syrup. Heat level to the minimum and cook the contents for four minutes. Next, the pan must be removed from the stove and let the jam cool, then reheat the mass and then distribute it over the banks. If you prefer seedless jam, the berries can be cut into pieces and wait until they are evenly distributed in the syrup.

In this case, the last stage can be skipped and immediately transfer the jam into the tank without cooling and reheating. You can not cook confiture on high heat, as the berries can fall apart.
