Less commonly, this phenomenon is observed in early varieties, since insects have not yet reached a sufficient state to lay eggs. A large accumulation of insects leads to the need to use insecticides, because folk remedies no longer cope: they are effective at the stage of prevention.

• Copper sulphate and Bordeaux liquid are considered good means. On a bucket of water enough ½ cup of vitriol, you can add quicklime. An excellent product is 40 grams of copper oxychloride for the same volume of liquid.

Bordeaux liquid can help, even if the larvae have already appeared. The treatment is carried out several times, and the solution is sprayed on the foliage and soil.
